Look for Exit, Quit, Discard Changes, Continue, or Continue Boot.
Choose the option that exits without saving changes.
If the screen is too weird, hold the power button until the computer turns off, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on.

The mission is simple: normal desktop first, coupon kingdom second. Somewhere in the distance, a bargain-bin lion roars approvingly.

2 Explain Canvas before the tea gets cold

Say this and nothing more:

Canvas lets Copilot open a big local browser page when tiny terminal words are not enough. Think coupon cave painting, but localhost.

Good: grocery coupons in giant text.

Good: printable store checklist.

Good: sort coupons by aisle.

Not needed: a lecture about HTTP servers.

3 Install the coupon chariot

Open a terminal. Tell Granny this is the wizard spell and she is doing great. The savanna holds its breath. The cat circles the keyboard.

4 Prove it works with coupons

Granny does not care about repository dashboards. Granny wants coupons.

Find today's best grocery coupons and show them in a big easy-to-read page.

Or go full refrigerator-door operations center:

Make me a printable coupon checklist for the store.

If all goes well, Microsoft Edge opens a local Canvas page. If Granny smiles, you have achieved production readiness. If she prints it and puts it on the fridge, you have achieved legacy enterprise.

5 Make it bigger

Granny squints at the screen and delivers the requirement:

"Make it bigger and easier to read."

That's what she said. Canvas can let Copilot update the same page with larger text, louder headings, and fewer tiny little nonsense words.

Sort the coupons by store aisle.

The page refreshes. Granny does not mash F5. The cat does not get a vote. The coupon circle of life continues.

`canvas_close`	Closes one Canvas page, or all of them.

7 If the browser does not roar

Restart Copilot CLI.
Ask Copilot CLI to reload extensions.
Ask Copilot CLI to list open canvases.
Make sure Microsoft Edge is installed.
If Copilot prints a link starting with http://127.0.0.1:, paste it into a browser.

127.0.0.1 means "this computer." Local. Cozy. Not a public website. Granny-safe.

8 Stop the parade

Tell Copilot:

close all canvases

Or use the tool name:

canvas_close name=all

Closing the browser tab is also acceptable field procedure.
